A Monument to Peace: Our Hope for the Children. Although there are move than 70 references to Peace in the Holy Bible, it is unfortunate that Christ's admonitions for peace have not consistently been heeded.
Peace should be and can be a positive force, but it must be promoted with national motivations and energies. There must be a conviction that conflict is not inevitable.

A monument commemorating the First Sunday School in Utah was erected at the corner of Third South and First West, Salt Lake City. It is a panel depicting Richard Ballantyne teaching several students in his pioneer home, for the moment converted into a classroom. The sculpture is cast in bronze and mounted on a hewn granite slab.

Moses Descending from Mount Sinai. The sculptor has caught the moment as he descends, staff in one hand, tables in the other. A justifiable anger pervades his whole being when he sees how quickly the children of Israel have reverted to idolatry.
